At Shakti Botanicals, we are dedicated to providing high quality, sustainably formulated tallow-based products that enhance your natural state of being. Our mission is to empower individuals to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
Our products are gently scented with locally grown NH herbs and therapeutic grade essential oils. We use NO synthetic or fragrance oils. Fragrance oils lack therapeutic benefit and are typically filled with unknown ingredients that can cause irritation to our skin and hormonal systems. All of our products are small batch hand crafted in Henniker, New Hampshire.
Benefits of Tallow
Tallow is naturally rich in skin loving fatty acids, which closely resemble the lipids found in our own skin. This makes tallow incredibly compatible with the skin’s biology, helping it restore moisture, strengthen the skin barrier, and support natural repair processes. Tallow’s natural composition is non-comedogenic and gentle enough for all skin types. When used in soapmaking, tallow produces a hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather that feels indulgent on the skin. It cleanses without stripping away natural oils, leaving skin soft, smooth, and nourished. Tallow is an upcycled ingredient, traditionally considered a by-product of the food industry. By using tallow, we help reduce waste and support a more sustainable, regenerative approach to skincare.
